Indeed, STRATEGOS is promoted by DITEN, Politechnic School, in sinergy with DIEC & DISPI, at Genoa University operating in strong cooperation with several Professors and Scientists operating in multi sectors and in strong liason with multiple Laboratories, Companies, Institutions and Research Team; as Engineering Master of Science (2 years MSc, Laurea Magistrale) STRATEGOS prepares Strategic Engineer with Solid Transdisciplinar Background in Engineering, Intelligence, Business, Economics, International Affairs, etc; the Goal is to develop this new International MSc Degree (Laurea Magistrale dell’Universita’ di Genova) devoted to prepare a new generation of Engineers further reinforcing International Cooperation with International Universities, Institutions, Agencies, Research Centers and Leading Industries. In facts, Integrating Strategic Analysis, Modeling, Management and ICT Technologies is a well-known need for the contemporary World, which is being addressed by some new valuable Master Programs on Strategy, Management of Business and Technologies. These aspects, initially born in the business management area, are now offered also in Engineering Master and Master Sciences. Some of these new programs are offered in Europe & USA and they represent an innovative connection between Business/Production and Academia, especially on Scientific and Technological Innovation & Transfer. In this scenario, STRATEGOS MSc Course (Laurea Magistrale in Italy, 2 years) is offered by Polytechnic School (Est.1870 AD) of Genuense Athenaeum and it intends to bring a strong novelty (product/system strategy, based on ICT, Modeling & Simulation, AI, System Engineering). STRATEGOS attracts currently students from worldwide interested in this subject considering the prestigious of the Genoa University (established in 1471 AD and ranking among best Universities), the quality of the Faculty and International Relationship with International Leading Industries, Top Quality Research Centers and Institutions. The subject of this Master in Engineering (Laurea Magistrale, 2 years) is very innovative in terms of educational objectives and approach and combine innovative technologies and methodologies able to create a new generation of models and new capabilities in data analytics and simulation. The STRATEGOS Engineers represent a crucial resource for Defense, as well as for Governmental Institutions, Agencies, Applications in Service of the Societies as well as in Major Companies and Industries. The proposed Master Program (Laurea Magistrale dell’Universita’ di Genova), intends to offer a professional engineer profile with a strong foundation in the area of modeling, analysis and strategy planning for products and systems. These competences and skills are expected to be usable in various application fields, both in a local territory and in a much wider area, especially because of the novelty of the educational goals and approach. The expected employment target include large companies, but also Small Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs), that could benefit from the engineering background of the new employees and by their specific skills and competences on modeling, simulation and methodologies for addressing product/system/service strategies. Indeed these are expected to be ever more relevant, given the typical current uncertainty in several fields in Industrial and Business. Admission Procedure for Italian Students to STRATEGOS, MSc in Engineering Technologies for Strategy and Security (Laurea Magistrale, 2 Year Program):

  1. Send your Curriculum Vitae including your Educational Background to Prof.Agostino Bruzzone, Council Chair STRATEGOS (strategos.interviews@simulationteam.com) in order to finalize the selection process (you can also submit this form).
  2. Please complete the online STRATEGOS Test here. By the STRATEGOS Interview and Test, it will be checked your backgrouind knowledge on English and engineering
  3. Be ready to complete the interview with STRATEGOS Council Chair and Selection Committee (Live, Phone or Skype).
  4. As soon as you receive an Acceptance Letter/Email by the Coordinator, you can start your registration procedure directly on the web site (servizionline.unige.it)
  5. You will complete payment and/or to finalize scholarship registration based on your profile.

  • B.Sc. Degree (Bachelor’s Science / Laurea Triennale) or M.Sc. (Master Science / Laurea Magistrale) awarded by an Italian university or a five-year degree (ante Ministerial Decree 509/1999), awarded by an Italian university or equivalent qualifications for non-Italian degrees
  • Possession of at least 36 credits (according to ECTS), or equivalent knowledge, acquired at any university (undergraduate, graduate, M.Sc., master’s degree, five-year degree) in the scientific areas referred by Italian Regulations as ‘base training activities’ for the degrees in the classes of Engineering, with no less than 30 credits in basic training activities in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics
  • Possession of at least 45 credits, or equivalent knowledge, acquired at any University Program in scientific areas referred to as fundamental courses by the Italian regulations, of the degrees of the classes of engineering
For foreign graduates, verification of curricular requirements is carried out by Scientific Committee considering appropriate equivalence between courses indicated in the personal curricula and the indications of the Italian regulations specified above. The verification of the preparation is carried out by an Interview including Curriculum Review as described in the following (Academic Regulations of the M.Sc.). The Interview is carried out live, skype, or by phone, and it allows to finalize an assessment of Applicant’s Potential on Strategic Engineering and addresses Curriculum Review, Engineering Background, Problem Solving & Modeling, Individual Potential, English Language Level, individual suitability for STRATEGOS. As anticipated the validation of Credits and Interview Results are used as recognition of:
